Pat Hawkins Sweeden
My husband and I moved from Little Rock, AR to beautiful Holiday Island, AR in 2012 after retiring from a professional career in Training and Education. With a Bachelor's in education and a Master’s in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication, I have spent my career helping companies and individuals with development and improvement in personal and professional growth.
My art is a way to continue my own development, share my passion and communicate my spirit. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to devote my energy and effort to constantly learn by painting and creating things I love.
With no formal art training, I have taken some classes along the way and learned basic techniques through subject matter books.
I am honored to have been recognized by the Holiday Island Association of the Arts annual Art Show for five consecutive years.
In 2018 we relocated to Fayetteville and in 2023 moved to Bentonville. I am part of 14 artists that make up the ANA Gallery Group. The ANA Gallery is located in downtown Rogers at the Rogers Experimental House.
